Types of Vending Licenses:
 
A) Mobile License
B) Stationary License
C) Market License

Vending License Requirements:

■ Vending licenses can only be requested by a person not an entity.
■ Registered for at least two (2) years in the Census Office of St. Maarten (Dutch).
■ The person must be of Dutch nationality (exception for Market license - the person may be of foreign nationality but must be registered at least 10 years in the Census Office of St. Maarten (Dutch).
■ Vending must be the person’s main source of income.

Permits

1. To organize a Raffle
2. To organize a BBQ
3. To organize a Bingo
4. To open later than the required hours (Stores/shops later than 6:30 p.m.) (Bar & Restaurants later than12:00 a.m).
5. To have a vending machine
6. To organize public events (dances/shows) walk-a-thon etc.)
7. Sign/Advertisement Board License

Requirements for a permit to organize a Bingo/Raffle or BBQ

1.The applicant must be a notarized entity: copy of the statutes/deed must be supplied.
2.Unsold tickets of the raffles must be submitted within 24 hours of the drawing;
3.Additionally a permit is required from the Lt. Governor to organize public events;
