Department of Communication is responsible for providing information about government to the public via various means of communication, such as through TV broadcast programs, news paper articles, radio programs, brochures and newsletters.

Mission:
The provision of detailed, timely, accurate and relevant information to the internal and/or external public concerning policy, plans, programs and projects that are being executed by the Government of St. Maarten

Objectives:
• The execution of an optimal internal and external communication of government news, information and public relations.
• The development of a communication policy to promote internal and external communication.
• To execute and coordinate all public relations concerns.
• The development of productions, editing and management of public TV and radio programs to promote an optimal internal and external communication.
