Vaccines have the power not only to save, but giving children and adults a chance to age healthy.    Vaccination offers protection not only to children but also to adolescents and adults against life-threatening diseases.  Vaccinating children/youths 0-17 years of age; walk with your vaccination card.  All others seeking vaccination information, visit the YHC Booth.

On Saturday, March 23, come out to the Festival Village from 8.00am to 4.00pm and visit Youth Health Care’s Vaccination Booth.

ATTENTION - Public Transportation Permit Holders
(Taxi’s, Passenger Busses, G and T Plates, School Busses)
The Department of Inspections TEZVT is asking all public transportation permit holders (Taxi’s, Passenger Busses, G and T Plates, School Busses) to visit the Inspections Department before paying their Road Tax 2013, and or picking up their vehicle plates.
Persons need to bring along with them a valid driver’s license, inspection card, help driver permit and their driver’s license, and an operational license for companies that have a fleet of vehicles.
The Receiver’s Office will not process vehicle plates if the paperwork of public transportation permit holders are not in order.

CIVIL REGISTRY DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

“French Residents with Sint Maarten Driver’s License”

All French residents who holds an expired Sint Maarten driver’s license is hereby requested to call the Sint Maarten Civil Registry Department to make an appointment.

Appointment Meetings: Monday and Friday from 11.00am to 3.30pm with the exception of Wednesday’s, to renew their driver’s license.

The driver’s license will be valid until March 31, 2013.
Documents required:  1. Passport picture; 2. Valid French ID/passport; 3. Medical Declaration; 4. Proof of French residency (attestation domicile); 5. and an Expired Driver’s License.
Note that the Civil Registry Department will only accept and process by appointment only.

Cancer Conference Agenda‏

St. Maarten Cancer conference will concentrate on sharing information on the specific cancer as identified, registration and sharing of data/information; survival rate, patient cancer care; cancer treatment for the identified cancers type; treatment opportunities while creating the opportunity to shed light on the local cancer situation as we strive to improve. ANNOUNCEMENT – Civil Registry Department

Parents & Guardians Acquire ID Cards for 12-year-olds and older
 
Parents and guardians should use the last two weeks of the school summer holiday period to acquire Identification cards (ID) which is mandatory by law.

ID card first time applicants, Dutch nationals is Naf.15 ages 0-17, and the parent/guardian must bring to the department the child’s passport or birth certificate.

First time applicants for non-Dutch nationals Naf.15 ages 0-17, and the parent/guardian must bring along a valid residence permit and passport.
