The Department Facility Management supports the core process of the Government of Sint Maarten that the objectives are optimally achieved. Facility Management is an important functional discipline within any Government over the world.
Flexibility is a success factor for the necessary conditions for the continuity of the core process. The department manages the facility costs and follow the facility innovations used by the Government.
The Department organize and carry out through an efficient manner central purchasing, store-room management, security, catering, cleaning, office organization and housing for the entire Government organization.
The main tasks
- The development of policy proposals with regards to Facility Management, such as housing, office furniture, cleaning, security, catering, store-room management, central purchasing for the organization including the management thereof;
- To take care of the optimal management of buildings for the entire Government organization including the management of the central telephone system and other building installations;
- To take care of office furniture, inventory management and management of Government vehicles;
- To take care of an effective and efficient Facility Management in the area of cleaning, catering, security, preparation of meeting space and messenger service.
