1st and 2nd public meetings
The 1st and 2nd public meetings were held to gather input from stakeholders and the general public in an early stage, prior to the legally prescribed public consultation.
Different issues, ideas and suggestions were discussed during the 1st public meeting in order to define points of departure. Zoning proposals were made and presented during the 2nd public meeting based on the outcome of the 1st public meeting, stakeholder consultations and further research. The outcome of the 2nd public meeting was used to prepare the preliminary draft development plan. Below are the presentations of the 1st and 2nd town hall meetings.

The preliminary daft development plans for Cay Hill-Little Bay and Cul de Sac were officially presented to the public during a Public Hearing at September 9, 2014. The presentation of the preliminary draft development plans for Cay Hill- Little Bay and Cul de Sac can be downloaded below.

Draft development plan
The draft development plan for Cul de Sac is placed on public review from September 29, 2014 up to and including October 28, 2014. During this period anyone may submit objections with respect to the Draft development plan Cul de Sac in writing to: the Minister of VROMI, Government Administration Building, P.O. Box 943, Clem Labega Square, Philipsburg, St. Maarten. The Draft development plan Cul de Sac is placed on public review at the Ministry of VROMI, Tamarindesteeg #16, Philipsburg. Following the period of public review the draft development plan including all submitted objections and advice from e.g. the Committee of Experts will be sent to the Council of Ministers and Parliament for handling and approval.
