Public Notice August 29th 2014 from the Central Voting Bureau
As per the decision of the Court in First Instance of Sint Maarten , a number of changes have been made to the Voters’ Registry.
In addition, as per the decision of said Court of August 29th 2014, persons that are detained in the House of Detention, and were already assigned a voting district, are now allowed to cast their votes in district 19, being the voting district of the House of Detention.
As a result of the aforementioned, the number of voters per voting district have changed.

Public Notice - Voting Cards
The Civil Registry Department would like to inform the general public in reference to the upcoming Parliamentary Elections that the voting cards are being distributed. Attached to the voting card is a dummy ballot, with guidelines of the procedure on how a vote should be cast. Please bare in mind the dummy ballot below is not an official ballot and cannot be used to vote; it is only for informative purposes. Every eligible voter should have a voting card in their possession minimum eight days prior to the date of election. If a voter does not receive their voting card, persons are invited to visit the Civil Registry to collect their cards from August 21st, up until August 28th, between 8.00am to 7.00pm.
The Civil Registry will be closed to the public on Election Day August 29th.
