The Inspectorate of Economic and Transport Affairs (IETA) is responsible for the enforcement of government policies, regulations and legislation related to economic activities, passenger transport, and driving examinations on Sint Maarten. The department consists of several sections:

- Section Casino Control
- Section Transport
- Section Taxi and School buses
Through the various sections within the department, we carry out routine inspections and controls to ensure business owners, vendors, and public passenger transport operators comply with laws and regulations.
