Records & Information Management is responsible for the efficient registration, archiving and opening of government related information.

Their tasks are:
  • ​​Policy proposals concerning Documents and Information Services for the government of St. Maarten
  • The development of policy and procedures regarding central mail recording, sending mail, and central archiving and the supervision of the implementation of those policies
  • The supervision of loaned archived documents
  • To look after document management such as the central library
  • The supervision of the central mail registration, mail sending, and archiving
  • Digitalizing of documents and automation of the document information services
