REQUESTING A HURRICANE OR DISASTER PASS

The Prime Minister of Sint Maarten can take measures to maintain public order during emergency situations. After a disaster has struck, and a curfew has been imposed, the public roads can only be accessed by emergency crews. The Prime Minister will ensure curfew is limited to the essential minimum time that is needed to execute the relief effort.

The Prime Minister can issue hurricane passes that will give the bearer an exemption to the curfew. Passes are divided into disaster passes and hurricane passes.
