Vending License (Mobile/Stationery/Market Place)

Are you considering becoming a vendor? The following requirements must be submitted and approved to obtain a vending license.

Appearance Requirements

None

Document Requirements
A completed application form.

A valid colored copy of your passport or a valid colored copy of your identification Card (of the applicant & helper).  (Only a colored passport copy or a colored identification card copy will be accepted)

A valid colored copy of your detailed Census Registration. (of the applicant)  (not be older than six (6) months)                  

Two (2) recent colored passport pictures. (of the applicant & helper)
(Only colored passport pictures will be accepted)

A valid colored copy of your Food handler’s certificate, if selling food or beverages or both. (of the applicant & helper)

 A copy of your Tax Return form from the previous year. (of the applicant)

 A valid colored copy of your police record. (of the applicant) (The police record must not be older than six (6) months)

A valid colored copy of the helper’s residence permit, in the event that the helper does not have the Dutch nationality.( not applicable for market place)

A copy of the letter issued by the Ministry of VROMI stating the assigned lot # or area.  
Note: Only for Applicants applying for street vending).

Note

The business that the applicant wishes to conduct must be his main source of income.

The applicant must have the Dutch nationality and registered at the Census Office for at least the last two (2) years.

Applicants of foreign nationality wishing to obtain a Market license, may be exempted from the second requirement (the Dutch nationality), if they have been residing and legally registered at the Census Office for 10 years or longer on Sint Maarten.
